WorldHost® Training Services

WorldHost Training Services was launched as the SuperHost® program in 1985, offering customer service training for the EXPO '86 World Fair in Vancouver. Since then, the program has expanded, evolved and rebranded to become the standard for customer service excellence in BC, as well as an internationally recognized leader in training for the tourism industry.

NexusBC Community Resource Centre is the OFFICIAL community delivery organization for WorldHost in Vernon.

The Fundamentals SALE: $50

Cost:$100 | 6 hour workshop

This Date Only: Thursday, September 21 ▪ 9am to 4pm

Learn important, practical skills and techniques for providing excellent customer service. Fundamentals teaches the skills to make customers feel welcome, use and remember names, master the art of conversation, and communicate effectively to understand the needs of your customer. 

 

Customers With Disabilities SALE: $35

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Workshops may be cancelled if there are less than 6 persons registered. If a class is cancelled, pre-registered participants will be notified based on the information they provide. If the participant chooses to cancel, they must do so at least 5 days prior to the workshop date. Full refunds are given for cancelled workshops, and to those who cancel at least 5 days prior to the workshop date.  For cancellations within 5 days of the workshop date, a 50% refund is given.  No shows: When a participant fails to attend a workshop, they will be charged the full workshop fee. Effective August 1, 2009.
