Job Search Assistant POSITION FILLED
Schedule: 5 days per week until December 1, 2022 at which time the role will tentatively be reduced to 3 days/week (22.5 hours)
Wage:  $20-$22 per hour depending on experience and/or education

Service Coordinator, Better At Home Program POSITION FILLED
Schedule: 3 days per week | Maternity Leave Coverage (March to August 2022) | Location: Vernon BC

Better at Home is a program that helps seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their community. This position is a collaborative position with the Program Development Coordinator.

Administrative Assistant POSITION FILLED
Schedule: 2 days per week | Location: Vernon BC

The Administrative Assistant position provides customer service and office support functions for the organization; assisting the Executive Assistant with high level administrative tasks. This person is knowledgeable and understands the workings of the NexusBC as a whole, the CONNECT and Better at Home
programs to the extent that they can provide preliminary information and support to those clients and programs.

 

House Cleaner, Better At Home Program POSITION FILLED
Schedule: 3 days per week | Location: Vernon BC

Better at Home is a program that helps seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their community. This position is for an individual to provide light housekeeping services to seniors in Vernon. Each house cleaning service is one full hour. Starting wage is $22.50 plus mileage reimbursement for traveling between clients. You can also get benefits after three months.

CONNECT Program Coordinator POSITION FILLED
Schedule: Full-time | Location: Vernon BC

NexusBC is looking for a CONNECT Coordinator who will lead the program in community partnerships and outreach events that support those we serve.  This individual will have strong leadership and supervisory experience of staff or volunteers.  They will be comfortable with presentations to groups as well as working one on one with clients and other staff.
