Caregiver Journey Lunch & Learn | May 13

Date: Wednesday, May 13, 2026
Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Location: Armstrong Seniors Activity Centre, 2520 Patterson Ave

Supporting someone living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia can be deeply meaningful – but it also comes with real challenges. Join us for a free in-person lunch and learn where we’ll talk about the ups and downs of caregiving, including guilt, grief, and spotting signs of burnout. You’ll also hear practical tips for looking after yourself and building resilience, with plenty of time to share and ask questions.

A light lunch, coffee, and tea will be provided – so you can just come and enjoy a relaxed afternoon connecting with others who understand what it’s like. This event is proudly offered in collaboration with the Alzheimer Society of BC & Yukon, and NexusBC Community Resource Centre.
